In conjunction with the exhibition “Arrivano i Paparazzi! Fotografi e divi dalla Dolce Vita a oggi” (The Paparazzi are Coming! Photographers and stars from La Dolce Vita to today), CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia choosesa selection of shots by Gianni Fiorito, stage photographer of Paolo Sorrentino.
From 11 October in the Project Room of the Centre in via delle Rosine 18 in Turin, “Cronache dal set: il cinema di Paolo Sorrentino. Fotografie di Gianni Fiorito” (Reports from the set: the cinema of Paolo Sorrentino. Photography by Gianni Fiorito), curated by Maria Savarese, will present approximately 40 photographs that tell the story of the cinema of the Neopolitan Oscar winner.
In a series of images that alternate between scenography and set pauses, are the young Pope, Jude Law, from the series The Young Pope, the protagonist of La Grande Bellezza, Jep Gambardella, played by Toni Servillo, who also played Il Divo Giulio Andreotti, and Sean Penn, the rock star Cheyenne in This Must Be the Place.
