Presentation of “ON THE VERGE”

The curators Maja Dyrehauge Gregersen (Copenhagen Photo), Marta Szymańska (Lodz Fotofestiwal) and Giangavino Pazzola (CAMERA) will introduce the public to the seven artists featured in the exhibition On the Verge.

Mark Duffy, Pauline Hisbacq, Julia Klewaniec, Alice Pallot, Daniel Szalai and Ugo Woatzi will talk with the three curators about how they have interpreted the theme of ‘being on the verge’, the central focus not only of the exhibition but also of all the outcomes of the annual FUTURES platform project. In fact, for the 2022 edition, the concept of ‘the verge’ will not only shape the exhibition but also a thematic publication curated and published by Void – an independent publishing house based in Athens, Greece. Developed in parallel with but independently from the exhibition, it will be presented to the public for the first time by Joao Linneu (Void), who will explain how the publication was put together, also focusing on the relationship with the artists during its compilation.
