Umberto Coa (Palermo, 1988)
Lives and works in Palermo. He approaches photography as a self-taught during his law studies at the University of Milan. After graduating, Coa attended the three-year course in photography at Fondazione Studio Marangoni, where he graduated in 2016. His works were exhibited for the first time at the Ragusa Foto Festival in 2016, while in 2017 he exhibited at the Galeria de Arte de Jardines de Mexico, in Mexico City. Her work was hosted in the exhibition Non dite che siamo pochi, curated by Renata Ferri, for European Photography – 2018 Edition.

Teresa Giannico (Bari, 1985)
Lives and works in Milan. She graduated in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari, she specialized in Drawing and Painting developing – however – a strong interest in scenography and theater. She gradually approaches photography, a choice that leads her to move to Milan to attend the Master in Photography and Visual Design at NABA in 2012. In these years she works as an assistant of the photographers Paolo Ventura and Toni Thorimbert. After presenting her research for the first time at Plat(t)form 2015 at the Fotomuseum in Winterthur (Switzerland), she exhibits her work at the Fotopub Festival in Novo Mesto (Slovenia) and Circulation(s) in Paris. In 2015 she is a finalist for the Francesco Fabbri Prize with a research still in progress entitled Lay Out.
Since 2016 she is represented by Viasaterna gallery.

Vittorio Mortarotti (Savigliano, 1982)
Lives and works in Turin. He studied photography in Paris at Center Iris – Formation Professionnelle Supérieur des Arts. In 2008 he had his first personal exhibition at Photomonth festival in Krakow. The same year he exhibited at Fries Museum in Leeuwarden, Holland, in the exhibition Behind Walls – curated by Wim Melis within the programming of the Noorderlicht Festival. In 2010 he was selected by Laura Serani among the 13 authors of Italian Emerging Photography project which was presented at Mois de la Photo in Paris. In 2012 he exhibited his works at Manifesta 9, in Belgium, creating a site-specific work as a result of a residency developed in Genk. The project The First Day of Good Weather, shortlisted for the First Book Award 2015, was published by Skinnerboox. Together with Anush Hamzehian he recently won the Leica Prize at the Vevey Images Festival. He is represented by the Alberto Peola Gallery in Turin, where his solo exhibition Most were silent is underway together with Anush Hamzehian. His work has been exhibited in France, Italy, Holland, Greece, Poland and Portugal.

Armando Perna (Reggio Calabria, 1981)
He lives between Milan and Beirut. Documentary photographer, he studied photography at the John Kaverdash Academy in Milan, specializing with a specific master at the Forma Foundation. After a brief working period as a still-life photographer, Perna focuses exclusively to the landscape and its transformations, both urban and anthropological. From this path the project on the A3 motorway was born which, in 2013, was selected for the European Architecture Photography Award (DAM, German Museum of Architecture, Frankfurt). Since 2013, his investigation has focused on Beirut where he created Dahiye, a project on the southern outskirts of the city, a finalist in the 2014 edition of the Fotobook Dummy Award (Kassel, Germany). In 2017 the Planar gallery (Bari) presented his work at the Pino Pascali Foundation in Polignano a Mare. Perna has just presented the project on Lebanese urban spaces, developed together with Saba Innab and with the support of the Merz Foundation, at the Milan Triennale during Milan Arch Week.

Lorenzo Pingitore (Torino, 1985)
Lives and works in Turin. He graduated from the Polytechnic of Turin, where he studied architecture and engineering. He uses photography as a means of expression, redefining the techniques during numerous ongoing collaborations with various brands operating in the fashion sector. The skills acquired allow Pingitore to experiment with different creative solutions which, through the use of the camera, allow him to capture evocative, emotional and conceptual images of settings – sometimes reproduced ad hoc through installations. His works were exhibited in Fabbrica di Fiammiferi (2016), curated by Lorenzo Balbi, at Spazio7 of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation. In 2017 he created an installation for the Kooness Gallery inside the Chiesetta della Misericordia Campo dell’Abbazia in Venice during the week of the inauguration of the Biennale, and was selected as a finalist of the eighth edition of the Combat Prize.

Anna Positano (Genova, 1981)
Lives and works in Genoa. Photographer and artist, she trained in architecture with a degree in 2008 at the University of Genoa. She later specialized with a Masters in Photography at the London College of Communication (2010). Her research considers the relationship between landscape and society and explores everyday places that play a key role in narrating people’s lives. You use photography, video installations, cartography, writing and participatory practices to interpret the complexity of landscapes modified by man. You also work on commission for architects and public institutions. You regularly publish in architectural journals such as Casabella, Domus, L’ Architecture d’ Aujourd’Hui, and Le Moniteur. You have held conferences and workshops at the École Polytechnique Fédérale of Lausanne, the Florida International University, the Polytechnic of Milan and the University of Genoa and the Italian Cultural Institute of Addis Ababa. Her works have been exhibited in art galleries and cultural institutions such as the Milan Triennale, the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Cornell University of Ithaca, the MAO of Ljubljana, and the Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art in Genoa.
