Boris Lurie. Adieu Amérique

CAMERA host, in the Project Room, the exhibition Boris Lurie. Adieu Amérique, curated by Filippo Fossati, which brings together 21 works made by the founding artist of the NO!art movement over the 1960s, a key period for his work, never before seen in Italy.

Photographic collages placed side by side with various propaganda models-from the infamous images of death camps to photographs of models and advertising-witness a form of rebellion against the abuses of power, conformity and the rhetoric of prevailing propaganda.

The exhibition is organised with the support of the Boris Lurie Art Foundation of New York.
