CAMERA for ITmakES

CAMERA collaborates with the ITmakES initiative (“Italy and Spain making together”), promoted by the Italian Embassy in Madrid, the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid, in collaboration with PhotoEspaña.
The theme chosen for the year 2023 is the sunrise, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Italo Calvino’s birth.
The purpose of the competition, which takes place as part of the Descubrimientos 2023 initiative organized by PhotoEspaña, is to create a space for exchange and artistic comparison between young photographers from the two countries to track new trends in contemporary Italian and Spanish photography and expand opportunities for participants to optimize their projects and professional network.
