CAMERA for the Danish photo competition’s ‘Capture Your City’

The City of Turin, CAMERA and Consorzio Kairos are partners in the Capture Your City photo competition, initiated by the Danish Architecture Center in Copenhagen (DAC) and invite all citizens to participate.

Capture Your City is a major photo competition in which photography enthusiasts can interpret their city as it now appears. The competition receives around 5,000 photos each year and participation is free of charge.
Originally organised by the Danish Architecture Centre (DAC), this year, for the first time, the competition is also being held in several countries as part of the European project Desire – an Irresistible Circular Society.
A jury of representatives from the various participating countries will select the best photographs, which will be exhibited physically and digitally in various locations throughout Europe in the summer of 2024.

Each year a theme is chosen for participants to capture through their lens. And in 2024 the theme chosen is New Beauty, because if we want to change the world, we should start seeing it with new eyes.
