Letizia Battaglia at Arles

After its first stop in Tours, the exhibition dedicated to Letizia Battaglia arrives in Arles on the occasion of Les Rencontres d’Arles starting July 7 until October 5, 2025.
The exhibition – co-produced CAMERA and by Jeu de Paume in collaboration with the Archivio Letizia Battaglia – explores Letizia Battaglia’s career by presenting more than 100 objects including photographs, books, newspapers and magazines. The archive testifies to the diversity of her artistic expression and her constant social engagement from her beginnings in Milan in the 1970s until her death in 2022 in Palermo.
The exhibition is curated by Walter Guadagnini and is accompanied by a catalog published by Dario Cimorelli Editore.
