Letti in CAMERA presents “Ho chiamato solo per dirti che ti amo”

On Monday, June 22, at 6:30 pm, CAMERA will host a new appointment of Letti in CAMERA dedicated to Ho chiamato solo per dirti che ti amo (I Just Called to Say I Love You), the new book by Riccardo Banfi, published by DISTANZ Verlag, which brings together 125 images created over more than ten years of research in Italy, Europe, and the United States.

Taking its title from Stevie Wonder’s famous “I Just Called to Say I Love You” (1984), the project intertwines personal memory and the collective dimension, traversing nature, landscape, domestic and urban spaces, and extending to our relationship with technology.
Enriched by a text by Giovanna Manzotti and a conversation between Riccardo Banfi and Saul Marcadent, the book presents an open narrative in which the ordinary is imbued with unexpected meanings.
