From 10 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the San Domenico Civic Museum in Forlì is hosting a major exhibition dedicated to Lee Miller (1907–1977), one of the most fascinating and innovative figures in 20th-century photography.
Curated by Walter Guadagnini and organised in collaboration with CAMERA, the exhibition brings together over 160 photographs from the Lee Miller Archives and traces the key stages of her extraordinary artistic and personal journey. From her involvement in the Surrealist movement to her work as a fashion photographer and war correspondent for Vogue, the exhibition tells the story of a figure who spanned continents, languages and diverse contexts, transforming photography into a tool for research, documentation and experimentation.
