Letti in CAMERA presents BIANCO ORDINARIO
Letti in CAMERA | Tuesday 13 May 2025, 6.30pm

On Tuesday, May 13, at 6.30 pm, Letti in CAMERA hosts Hélène Bellenger, a French visual photographer and iconographic artist, who presents Bianco Ordinario, an editorial project that takes inspiration from the marble quarries of Carrara.
The work focuses on pure calcium carbonate powder, used in consumer items such as toothpaste, cosmetics, paper and detergents. The artist used the back of the packaging of these products as a photographic medium, reproducing on them the elegant and refined imagery of marble statuary alongside a selection of landscapes shaped over centuries by intensive quarrying in the quarries. Images and visions that reflect on whiteness as a cultural construction, interweaving aesthetics, industry and consumption.
With the participation of
Hélène Bellenger, photographer
Hugo Berger and Eleonora Paciullo, founders of The Light Observer
Giulia Ninotta, coordinator of Letti in CAMERA
