Letti in CAMERA presents fuoriregistro

Letti in CAMERA | Tuesday 8 March, 6.30pm

On Tuesday, April 8, at 6:30 pm, during the Letti in CAMERA, corpo docente the fourth issue of fuoriregistro: notebook of pedagogy and contemporary art will be presented.
The volume examines the close and intricate dynamic that characterizes the pedagogical relationship. This space is shaped by a complex interplay of factors that influence the model of learning and teaching, from assessment to the exercise of power, to the challenge of educating in contexts of poverty and various forms of ability. Critically and thoughtfully addressing the pedagogical theme means not only thinking about teaching as a tool for learning and transmitting knowledge within educational institutions but also as a tangible and concrete opportunity for change for those involved in the process.
All the contributions in this issue – conversations, short essays, diaries, testimonies, surveys, images – explore the intersections between education, art, women’s bodies, architecture and school buildings’ interiors, social issues, the poetics of the relationships, community building in Italy and some marginalized areas.
Attached to the magazine, there will be a fanzine titled Dentro la scuola, the result of a photo workshop held in a number of first- and second-grade school classes in Turin.
With the participation of
Donata Lazzarini and Maria Rosa Sossai, editorial staff of fuoriregistro
Francesca Referza, art history lecturer and independent curator
Cristina Araimo, head of educational activities at CAMERA
Giulia Ninotta, coordinator of Letti in CAMERA
