Samuel Gratacap. Stories of Italy and Europe

Thursday at CAMERA | 4 April 2025, 6.30pm

From 1932 to 1973, Henri Cartier-Bresson traveled through Italy on numerous journeys, capturing in snapshots of everyday life all the depth of the landscape, especially the human landscape, of our country.

A quest we also find in the work of Samuel Gratacap, a French photographer and winner of the Prix de l’ÉLYSÉE, whose work ranges from documentary photography to photojournalism.
On Thursday, April 3, at 6:30 pm, Samuel Gratacap will present his work to the public, exploring the new geographies of exile and reception and telling us about an Italy traversed by migratory flows and social transformations.

With the participation of
Samuel Gratacap, photographer
