Talk with Cristina de Middel, photographer and president of Magnum Photos

On the occasion of the exhibition in Project Room, Bar Stories on Camera, in collaboration with Galleria Campari and Magnum Photos, we will meet Cristina de Middel, president of Magnum Photos and author of award-winning projects, including the acclaimed series The Afronauts (2012).

On Thursday 19 September, at 6.30 pm, the Spanish photographer will discuss her most recent works in dialogue with Walter Guadagnini. After a ten-year career as a photojournalist, de Middel’s research has focused on the ambiguous relationship between photography and truth, through projects that combine documentary and conceptual photographic practices to build a more layered understanding of the reality she observes.
