The Color Revolution: a conversation with Harry Gruyaert

On Thursday, June 18, at 6:30pm, CAMERA launches its program of events dedicated to the summer exhibitions with a special session featuring Harry Gruyaert, the subject of the exhibition dedicated to him.
This is an opportunity to meet the Belgian photographer, a member of Magnum Photos, in person and delve into the central themes of his work through his own account. Considered one of the pioneers of the expressive use of color, Gruyaert will retrace the main stages of his creative journey, from the 1970s to the present.
In conversation with François Hébel, artistic director of CAMERA and curator of the exhibition, he will explore his unique relationship with color, a defining element of images of extraordinary visual intensity.
The event will also offer a direct look at the works on display, featuring reflections and anecdotes.
