Urban installation for FUTURES 2022

The five artists FUTURES 2022 – Karim El Maktafi, Martina Dendi, Mara Palena, Riccardo Svelto, Jacopo Valentini – are presented through an urban installation in collaboration with TorinoStratosferica in the Precollinear Park exhibition area located on the Regina Margherita bridge in Turin, up to October 5th. From the political and social reflection of El Maktafi to that of Dendi’s sexuality and gender stereotypes, from the poetic and at the same time analytical reading of memory made by Palena to that of Valentini’s physical and imaginary places, passing through the intimist approach of Quickly, this urban installation offers an insight into the variety of poetics and practices of contemporary photography and images in Italy.
