Light-years Away
Talk | Thursday 3 December 2026, 6.30pm
On Thursday, 3 December at 6.30 pm, CAMERA hosts a talk with Davide Tranchina, artist and photographer featured in the exhibition Light-years Away, on view in the Project Room.
In conversation with Walter Guadagnini, curator of the exhibition, Tranchina will guide the audience through the research that has shaped his work, long centred on the relationship between light, time, and landscape, creating suspended images in which reality and artifice converge and blur.
The event will offer an opportunity to explore the poetic universe underlying his artistic practice and the meaning of the exhibition project conceived for CAMERA, providing insight into the creative process behind the site-specific work presented in the exhibition. Through a conversation weaving together ideas, experimentation, and methodology, Tranchina will revisit key moments in his artistic journey, offering the audience a privileged perspective on the work of one of the most compelling voices in the contemporary art scene.
With the participation of

Walter Guadagnini, curator of the exhibition
